Privacy notice
This notice applies to browsing the Artfolio website, using the “Art on my wall” planner and contacting us through the site.

2. Contact and enquiries
We process the name, email address, optional telephone number, message, artwork details and attachments you send us to respond to your enquiry, understand your requirements and discuss a quotation. We receive this information directly from you.
The legal basis for processing information needed for a quotation or a potential order is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. The legal basis for answering general questions is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling enquiries and maintaining contact. You may object to this latter processing.
Providing your information is voluntary. We cannot give a meaningful response without contact details and the information needed to understand your request. In the planner, your name and email address are required to prepare the message; your telephone number and additional comments are optional. The enquiry form also asks you to attach the room preview.
You can enter your details and attach the room preview in the planner enquiry form. When email sending is enabled, the website server sends the details and attachment to info@artfolio.hu through the configured email provider. The website does not create a separate enquiry database; the message remains in the email system. The form provides feedback on the sending status.
3. Room photo and saved design
The planner processes your selected room photo in the browser. It saves the room photo, artwork selection, wall dimensions, frame and perspective settings, and comparison versions in the local storage of the same browser so that you can continue your design later. Editing takes place locally. The “Download preview” action temporarily sends the completed image to the website server, which returns it as a downloadable PNG file. The application does not save this image in server storage or send it by email or to an image generation service.
Local saves do not expire after a fixed period. You can delete the design and room photo in “Manage design”; clearing your browser website data also removes them. Closing the window alone does not delete the save. On shared devices, delete your design after use.
Deleting the local design does not remove downloaded image files or attachments in sent emails. These must be managed separately in your device file manager, email application or by the recipient. If you send us a room preview, the rules for enquiries apply to it.
Where possible, use a room photo without people, documents or other sensitive details. Only send photos of other people if you have appropriate permission. We will not use a photo received with an enquiry in a public gallery or advertisement without separate permission.
4. Retention
We process enquiry information for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and conclude the related discussions. If no order follows and no further administration or legal obligation justifies retention, personal data and attachments must be deleted. Retention therefore depends on the conclusion of the particular matter and any further obligations.
Separate retention rules may apply to documents needed to fulfil an order, issue invoices or resolve legal claims. The current website does not request billing or payment card details and does not accept online payments. Information about any further processing related to a later order must be provided when the data is requested.
5. Access and technical service providers
Enquiries sent to us may be accessed by authorised people involved in handling them. Email service providers assist with transmitting and storing messages. The email or sharing application you choose processes data according to its own privacy notice.
The website is hosted by Tárhely.Eu Kft. Serving the website, transmitting messages and preventing abuse may involve processing technical data such as IP addresses, browser details and access times. The hosting and email provider’s current privacy notice applies to its own service operations. The planner’s local saves are separate from these processes.
6. Cookies, local storage and external links
The Artfolio application has no built-in advertising trackers or visitor analytics. Local planner saves support the design function you requested, not advertising profiles. A session cookie may be used to secure the enquiry form. To limit abuse, the server may retain short technical counters for up to one day; these do not contain the form text or attached image.
External links may take you to another provider’s website, where that provider’s privacy rules apply. Artfolio does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects on you on this website. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or restriction of processing. For automated processing based on consent or a contract, you may request data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You can send your request to info@artfolio.hu or to the registered office of Neox Bt. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. Complex or numerous requests may require an extension of up to two further months; we will inform you of this and the reason within the first month. Requests are normally handled free of charge.
8. Complaints and remedies
You may raise a privacy complaint directly with us or with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). You may also seek a judicial remedy.
